A.R.P.® is produced in small batches by a designer with a deep love of vintage, drawing inspiration from the charm of old-school styles and refusing to compromise on quality. Based on the classic mohair cardigans of the 1960s, each piece is made generously with carefully selected genuine mohair. The collection features models packed with details that even discerning enthusiasts will appreciate, including luxurious shell buttons and pockets at both hems.
This piece focuses on the deep colors and character of vintage mohair. Made with premium 78% mohair and 22% nylon yarn, it recreates the fluffy texture of shaggy mohair. The long-pile shaggy mohair is also created through multiple stages of work by hand. The premium blend of 78% mohair and 22% nylon is soft and lofty, offering a comfortable, high-quality feel that’s gentle even on sensitive skin, regardless of gender or age.
“Abstract Black” is an artistic colorway, like abstract painting, that resists concrete interpretation.

It has that slightly rebellious yet somehow refined feel you see on musicians from the old days or in movies. It’s also one of my all-time favorite types of clothing.
I think this A.R.P. piece is a great way to fully enjoy the appeal of vintage mohair.
First of all, the long, fluffy pile of this fabric is truly wonderful. Made with a generous amount of mohair, it stands out visually and feels soft against the skin.
Personally, I like a casual look with faded denim, a plain T-shirt, and VANS on my feet. I think it looks best when you don’t overthink it and just casually throw it on over your everyday clothes.
I’m 175 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, and I’m wearing the one-size-fits-all. It has just the right amount of room, making it easy to throw on over a shirt or T-shirt. It’s exactly the fit I like.
Cardigans like this make a great centerpiece for an outfit, yet never look like you’re trying too hard to dress well. That’s another thing I love about them.
