The brand name “melple” is coined from “mellow people.”
The mellow, laid-back atmosphere of California, and people enjoying a rich lifestyle.
Inspired by that culture, we reflect it in our products with a “Modern Vintage Style.” Rather than simply recreating pieces from our archives, we interpret ever-changing culture and style in melple’s own way. Enjoy melple’s relaxed, distinctive atmosphere.
We’ve updated the Premiere Suede Turtleneck L/S, a winter staple that many people have enjoyed over the years.
We made subtle adjustments to this exceptionally warm piece with its “smooth, drapey feel” and “amazing stretch.”
Compared to the previous model, the chest is 3 cm wider, the shoulders are 2 cm wider, and the length is 3 cm longer. The fit is slightly roomier yet still close to the body, providing excellent warmth.
Premiere Suede converts moisture and sweat into heat to retain warmth, so it keeps you exceptionally warm even in winter.
And above all, the fabric feels smooth and soft against the skin and has incredible stretch.
It resists pilling and is easy to care for as well as comfortable to wear.

When the weather turns cold, you’ll find yourself reaching for it again and again. This is melple’s classic turtleneck, prized for its comfort.
What I like most is its distinctive texture. It feels soft and smooth against the skin, like suede, and stretches remarkably well, so it’s incredibly comfortable to wear.
What’s more, its technical fabric retains warmth by converting moisture and sweat into heat, so it’s lightweight yet plenty warm. It’s a very reliable layer for winter.
This season, it has been updated with a slightly roomier chest and shoulders than the previous model, creating a more natural fit.
Personally, I recommend wearing it under a shirt or cardigan. Letting just a little of the turtleneck peek out adds a much more mature feel to your everyday outfits.
Of course, it also looks great on its own, making it a versatile piece from early fall through early spring.
I’m 175 cm tall and weigh 75 kg, and I’m wearing size L.
