The brand's signature premium moleskin jacket
The French moleskin jacket that represents F.O.B FACTORY.
It is made from original ultra-heavy moleskin fabric woven at high density, with the nap density raised to its maximum.
The fabric has a sheen like the finest nubuck leather, while the details are based on French work jackets from the 1950s.
Moleskin used in French workwear was commonly used for French work jackets from the 1800s through the 1950s, and is characterized by its sheen and subtle nap.
At the time, it was also favored by coal miners as durable workwear.
Because it was worn by coal miners, one theory holds that it was named after the underground-dwelling "mole," meaning "mole skin."

These are the kind of jackets you want to keep wearing for years, regardless of trends.
It has the ruggedness of a traditional work jacket, yet when you actually put it on, it also has a surprisingly refined feel. The texture of this moleskin fabric is particularly impressive; despite its substantial weight, it gradually molds to your body the more you wear it, which is another part of its appeal.
I usually choose size 3 or 40, but I am wearing size 4 in this jacket. Allowing a little extra room created the balance I prefer, making it easy to wear not only over a shirt but also with sweatshirts.
It looks great simply thrown over denim or military pants, and I also recommend pairing it with slightly dressier trousers.
Its finished form is not what it is when new; instead, you can look forward to where it will be after wearing it for five or ten years. Clothes like that are the ones I hope you will add to your wardrobe.
