BASTIEN is a snowshoe and moccasin maker founded by the Wendat people of Canada.
For over 140 years since its founding, the company has preserved traditional techniques and culture, and to this day, continues to maintain its unchanging manufacturing methods in Wendake, Quebec, where they reside.
While North America has a rich tradition of moccasins, there are now very few manufacturers left that continue to make them by hand in that land.
