It has been over a decade since the 20th century came to a close, a century that can be described as a turbulent era for humanity.We made great strides in civilization, and humanity even reached the moon.
It is no exaggeration to say that almost everything we call "fashion" today was born from that time.Keeping that immeasurable power in mind, I want to create clothing by imagining another 20th century—one that is neither a replica nor a vintage piece.

 

Unlike our usual items, this product focuses on the "Fabric HISTORY."
It is inspired by old Italian prison fabrics.
It features panels of striped and checked patterns in matching tones.

 

 

Hi STORY
“Used as a prison since the 19th century, this facility is now a monastery.
In the 60s, when the decision was made to demolish it, the local monks took it over.
At that time, they accepted dozens of released individuals into the facility and worked on their rehabilitation.
It is said that they were taught sewing skills using the only remaining sheets and prison uniform fabrics from the prison era, providing them with a stepping stone to re-enter society.
That activity is closely linked to the spirit of rehabilitation in Italy today.
In the center of the former prison, which looks like a Colosseum, a large garden has been built.
Every year, a fabric bazaar featuring goods from both home and abroad has become a customary event in that garden.
We hope that the prison fabrics of that time will also return to the world in a good way.”
