The MODIFIED FIT has a chest width of 51cm for a size M, fitting the body appropriately with a length that tucks neatly into a jacket. Available in 4 sizes: S/M/L/XL.
The body is made of 8-ounce pique knit. While the ounce weight is significantly heavier than our 2-ply T-shirts, the unique texture of the pique knit features small gaps, like tiny holes, which allow air to pass through. That is why polo shirts feel so cool.
At first glance, people might think a polo shirt is just "a T-shirt with a collar," but the sewing process, fabric, and findings are completely different. The collars and cuffs are knit on flat knitting machines. Shoulder and collar areas feature stay tape to prevent stretching.
The buttons are made of high-quality Takase shell. Since the garments are piece-dyed, the buttons are attached after dyeing. These shell buttons generally won't break with normal washing and air-drying, but because the piece-dyeing process involves high temperatures and tumble drying, we attach them afterward. The garments are already tumble-dried to be fully shrunk, so there is almost no shrinkage after washing.
For the emblem, we have designed a new, pop-style "W" for WORKERS this year. This was not created by ChatGPT, but crafted by Tateno.
