It has been over a decade since the 20th century ended, a century that was undoubtedly tumultuous for humanity.We made great strides in civilization, and humanity even reached the moon.
It is no exaggeration to say that most of what we call "fashion" today was born from that time.Maintaining that immeasurable power, we want to create clothing that is neither a replica nor a vintage piece, but by imagining another 20th century.

 

We are pleased to introduce our renewed classic Walter's Corn-Venti shirt.
While keeping the essential details of the model, we added a bit more room, primarily in the armholes.
We have recreated the vibe of the green and black check that was well-received in 2022. (The material is lightly brushed.)

 

Hi STORY
“In the early 50s, the Walter family ran a corn farm in the countryside of Illinois.
Their insistence on pesticide-free methods put an increasing strain on their finances.
It reached the point where their only daughter, Lisa, had to start doing sewing work from a young age.
When she turned 18, she began making shirts in a shed to help support the family income.
Her careful and sincere workmanship, which seemed to carry on her father's spirit, gained a lot of support.
While maintaining traditional manufacturing methods, she established a small factory in Chicago in '73.
However, as the 90s arrived, cheap mass-produced goods drastically changed the market, forcing them to close down all at once.
Coincidentally, it was also the time when the agricultural industry was entering the era of genetically modified crops.
The triangular ventilation, the trademark of Walter's shirts,
is said to have been designed by Lisa to honor the spirit of ‘safe corn.’”
