A GENERAL THINGS original model inspired by no-brand denim jackets produced under wartime supply controls in the 1940s.

While it resembles a denim jacket, it offers the practicality of a coverall, finished with a minimalist design that deliberately strips away excess details.

The large dual pockets are designed without flaps and reinforced with rivets. Vintage-inspired details are incorporated throughout, such as a single-panel back and turned-up cuffs.

For the fabric, we have selected "JUMBO," a 13.8 oz pure indigo selvedge denim.

It features American San Joaquin pure indigo-dyed warp yarns and weft yarns made from Ayabe Boshoku’s "JUMBO" spun mixed cotton. The charm lies in the expression created by the natural slub yarns and the beautiful blue hue that deepens the more you wear it.

The original top button and punched rivets have been given a used finish, incorporating subtle details that evolve with repeated wear.

The silhouette features a slightly longer body and sleeve length compared to standard denim jackets. With a generous shoulder and chest width, it can be styled to match your individual look depending on the size you choose.

Perfect for throwing over a shirt, or wearing under an outer layer during colder seasons. It is a quintessential GENERAL THINGS piece that can be worn throughout the year.
