Mr.OLDMAN original leather items have arrived.
Hello everyone, this is Ichimura from Mr.OLDMAN.
As a matter of fact, the original leather items we have been working on for the past few months are finally complete.
In a select shop like ours, the common style is "selling what we purchase," but we have always made things we want to create.
We plan and design items ourselves, focusing on things that cannot be found in wholesale products and things that we want for ourselves but don't exist yet.
Since we make them ourselves, we obviously love them to bits, we want everyone else to use them too, and it’s fun because they are only sold here in the whole world!
Today, two styles of such leather items have been completed, and I would like to introduce them to you.

But before that, I went out for a meal with everyone who helped with the opening of "PATHLOW" the other day, so here is a look at that.

We went to "Nanashiya" in Sumiyoshi-cho, Maebashi City.
It’s actually a Thai restaurant located just a 2 or 3-minute walk from PATHLOW.
The owner, Ryo-san, is someone I have known for a long time.
I’ve been going there for a while, but now that it's so close to PATHLOW, I have a feeling I’ll be going a lot more often!
It is authentic Thai food, and I can hardly eat it unless it's mild (lol).
It’s really delicious, so if you’re craving Thai food, please give it a try.

Now, let's get to today's main topic!
Mr.OLDMAN Leather Drawstring Bag
Has it been more than half a year since the last production run?
These drawstring bags made of high-quality cowhide are produced at a relaxed pace of maybe once or twice a year.
I remember the recent popularity of drawstring bags being sparked by US military patient bags, but it’s safe to say they are no longer just a trend—they have become a staple.
As you’ll find out when you use one, they are very convenient and easy to use for storing everyday carry items like your wallet, keys, glasses, or a digital camera.

The leather is infused with plenty of oil, and its natural texture, which allows you to enjoy the authentic, natural character of the hide, is its main appeal.
There are individual differences in the grain and wrinkles depending on the part of the hide used, but that is also part of what makes it great.
It has a matte texture when you first start using it, but it gradually develops a luster and the leather becomes smoother over time.
This aging process is also a very attractive feature of this leather.
It’s suitable for all genders and styles, and while it’s great for daily outings, I think it’s also easy to use for slightly dressier occasions.
It will come in very handy for things like your child's entrance ceremony or a wedding after-party.

By the way, the new blue-green color turned out even better than I imagined, and I am personally very satisfied.

And this is the zip pouch we created for the first time.
I loved the texture and the aging of the leather from the drawstring bag so much that I decided to design a pouch that could be used as a set with that bag.
Since the leather is the same, it looks really great when used as a set.
Using them in the same color is great, but choosing different colors is also recommended.
The top features a large zipper.
There is a hook built into the inside of the main pocket, so you can attach keys there if you'd like.
You can hang it from your waist, or you can hang it by this hook in your car to use as a coin purse or a small storage pouch.
I really think it can be used in so many ways depending on your ideas, so please think of various ways to use it.
