"John Gluckow" is a brand developed in partnership between Warehouse and John Gluckow, a world-renowned vintage dealer based on the West Coast of the United States.

The brand takes a different, more niche approach to manufacturing than the "WAREHOUSE" brand itself. It creates highly fashionable menswear that, while rooted in the deep history of functional American garment design—such as workwear, military, and sportswear—does not look like a reproduction or costume when worn on the city streets.

It is a brand with many fans among our customers, and it is also a personal favorite that I highly recommend.

This latest release from John Gluckow is a reissue of work pants from a certain workwear manufacturer. Based on pieces from the late 1930s to the 1940s, this model features an angular, highly minimalist design.

The combination of the Great Depression and modern industrial design sensibilities resulted in a more rugged and simplified appearance.

However, that particular workwear manufacturer still emphasized branding and quality through details like custom buckles and very prominent label placement.

Crafted with attention to every detail, the silhouette is a masculine, roomy work fit.
It is a wonderful model that I look forward to breaking in over a long time.
