A new addition to our brand lineup. Arrivals from "Nasngwam" have begun.
Hello everyone.
I've been a bit busy this past week, so I haven't been able to write on the blog.
It's easy to start anything, but staying consistent is truly difficult...
I’ve managed to keep up with my goal of "writing the blog properly every week," so I want to keep working at it bit by bit.
With that said, I look forward to your continued support today.
Now then, I went on a business trip to attend exhibitions during my day off the other day.
The season has finally begun (laughs).
I expect to be traveling around Tokyo almost every week for the next two months or so.
I visited VASCO, with whom I’ve been working for over 15 years now, if you can believe it.
The products are great, of course, but their shop is also wonderfully cool.
Brands that stay in business for a long time really excel at attention to detail.
Whenever I go to see things in person, there's so much to learn and it's always very inspiring.
They had an aged sample of the Nelson bag, which we also carry as a staple item.

This aging process is what makes it so appealing.
We are expecting more in stock this year, so those interested should definitely keep an eye out.
Next, I changed locations and went to another exhibition.
It’s a new brand that will be arriving at the shop starting in August.
I first visited them last year, and that’s when our relationship began.
Now that I'm in my 40s, I reached out to them because I felt that these were the kind of clothes I'd like to wear in the future.
In a sense, this might be a challenge for both me and the shop.
But I'm very excited about it.
This time, I was looking at items for next summer, and as expected, there were so many things I wanted.
The items arriving this year are also truly wonderful, so please look forward to them.
My introduction went on a bit long, but here is today's main topic.
Actually, through a strange twist of fate, we've suddenly started carrying a new brand.
"Nasngwam" has now joined the lineup at Mr. OLDMAN.
It’s a long-running brand, so some of you may already know it.
I've known about them for a long time myself, but I had the chance to talk with the designer just the other day, and things moved along quite quickly for us to start carrying them.
It doesn't usually happen this way, but since I’ve known them for a long time and have always loved the clothes they make, everything fell into place very quickly (laughs).
It’s a long-sleeved shirt that you can wear even in the summer.
It's made of thin, lightweight 100% linen, has a loose fit for a relaxed feel, and is a convenient shirt that still looks polished.
The demand for long-sleeved shirts in the summer has been growing steadily over the past few years, so these kinds of shirts are really useful.
It has a mature, resort-like feel, and it’s truly great once you put it on.
I love this sheer quality that is unique to linen.
It’s already starting to sell at the shop even before I’ve introduced it.
It’s a highly recommended piece, especially for this season now that the sunlight has suddenly become so harsh.
