We have been using "MAD et LEN" at the shop for a while now.
With its rugged iron container, entirely handcrafted by artisans and filled with amber resin, it has the appearance of a work of art.
The scent spreads when you add a drop of oil here.
The scents are committed to natural materials, using flowers, woods, stems, and fruits carefully selected from around the world and extracted through distillation.
Everything is handmade in small batches in a remote, small village in the south of France.
It is a masterpiece that I am strongly drawn to—not just as a tool for scent, but also for its container and the philosophy of the brand itself.

Now, onto the "SUNNY SIDE UP" pop-up store that started over the weekend.
Out of the many items available, I personally find that the remake items from this brand, particularly the denim and duck fabric pieces, are incredibly well-executed.
The remake denim pants that have arrived at our shop for the first time are one such example.
They take old painter pants and disassemble the waist section.
The large waist is customized with tucks so that Japanese people can wear them with an optimal fit.
They refine the overall silhouette and inseam to create a beautiful fit.

The fabric for the double-knee section is sourced from another individual garment and distressed.
This labor-intensive work is done by hand, piece by piece.
Of course, each one is a completely unique item, and no two are exactly alike.
The brown duck version also has a fantastic finish.
Given my current mood, I personally really want to wear the brown duck.
More than the denim, the variations in color shading and condition are even more pronounced.
The silhouette is also very good.
Remake items often end up looking childish.
SUNNY SIDE UP offers a tasteful finish that adults can fully enjoy.
