Golden Week has finally come to an end. How was it for everyone this year?

 

From talking to people around me, I got the impression that not many people went on trips or the like.

 

It seems like many spent their time relaxing nearby.

 

 

 

As for me, I was, of course, working at the shop, but I managed to leave a little early on the last day to go out for a meal with my children, who were home for the holidays.

 

We went to "Publo" in Motosojamachi, Maebashi City.

€p>It had been a while since I last visited, but it was a delicious and satisfying evening.

Now, onto today's main topic.

 

WAREHOUSE Lot.1086 HBT MILITARY PANTS

 

It’s been a while, but Warehouse’s classic baker pants have finally been restocked.

 

This is a true staple model that has been in production for over a decade.

 

I suppose that's what makes something a classic—it's been continuously produced, it never gets old, and before you know it, you find yourself wearing it all the time.

 

These pants are a true classic that fits that description perfectly.

 

Of course, I own a pair, and I think I bought them over 10 years ago.

 

I still wear them frequently, and although they are completely worn out from repeated washing, they offer such a sense of comfort that they’ve become an indispensable favorite of mine.

 

 

While many brands release baker pants, the defining feature of this pair is that it uses the herringbone material typical of the 1940s style.

 

Many other companies often produce models from the 50s and 60s using back-satin fabric, but Warehouse has always produced this khaki-colored model with herringbone material.

 

I will post photos of my own pair later, but as you wash them, they really develop a wonderful character.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The herringbone fabric and back-satin fabric are truly quite different, aren't they?

It’s not about which is better or worse; as someone who loves clothes, I want both (laughs).

 

Personally, I really love the depth of color you get with this herringbone.

 

The quality of the brand-new condition is truly excellent, isn't it?

The fabric has softened from washing, the herringbone twill has become distinct, and the puckering at the seams stands out—it looks truly fantastic.

 

Even though they're my own, I can't help but admire them.

 

They’ve been making such wonderful pants for over 10 years.

 

This is truly what you’d call a real classic.

 

 

 

They only arrive about once a year, so I know opportunities to get them are rare, but I hope you don't miss this chance to pick up a pair.

While back-satin baker pants lean a bit more toward green, I really like the mood of this khaki-like tone.
