They are starting to arrive one after another.
Good evening everyone, this is Ichimura from Mr. OLDMAN.
It really feels like the autumn/winter season is officially getting underway.
Before that, I went to the mountains to escape from reality (lol).
I went to Mount Tateshina in Nagano Prefecture, the northernmost peak of the Yatsugatake Mountains, at an altitude of 2,531 meters.
Since I'm always an early riser, I woke up just a little bit earlier than usual and reached the trailhead in just over two hours from my house.
The weather in Gunma was bad, but once I entered Nagano, it was crystal clear.
It was a truly pleasant climb.
When I'm climbing a mountain, my mind goes completely blank. It’s the same with fishing.
Without thinking about anything, I just focus on one step at a time, steadying my breathing, and keeping my feet moving forward, even when it’s tough.
Of course, I love the stunning views from the summit, but I also really love that time while climbing when I’m not thinking about a single thing.
Being able to clear my head like that is something you just can’t experience in everyday life.
With that said, I’m feeling refreshed, so I’m ready to work hard.
Now, on to the main topic.
New arrivals from various brands are starting to roll in all at once.
It feels like a bit too much all at once, but it happens every year, so it can’t be helped.
I placed the orders myself, so I have no choice but to sell them (lol).
But the clothes I’ve poured my heart into selecting this year are definitely full of "good stuff."
Since I want most of it myself, I can't be wrong.
I’ll just have to trust my own selection.
The popular Carpenter series from melple has arrived again this season.
The pants are popular every season, but a jacket has been added to the lineup starting this season.
The back-satin fabric with its strong uneven texture looks great even when brand new, but it just gets better and better the more you wash it.
It’s not just about the color fading to look even better, but back-satin gets denser and smoother with wear, making it a truly comfortable fabric.
Once it reaches that point, it’s just incredibly comfortable to wear.
Denim and chinos also feel great after being worn and washed in, but in terms of comfort, I think back-satin is the best.
It comes in two colors: natural and olive.
I’m sure many of you already own the pants, so please make sure to pick up the jacket as well.
The silhouette has that loose, relaxed feel typical of melple; it’s quite large, but for some reason, it doesn't look childish at all when you put it on—it looks fantastic.
It’s relaxed and has a bit of a loose vibe, but it really feels like "playwear for adults."
This sense of balance is exactly what I love about melple.
The custom long-sleeve T-shirt I made a while back was also very well-received, and I’m so happy to see so many melple fans in the shop.
I’m already thinking about the next custom project, and I’d like to hold some events this year as well.
They truly are a great brand making cool things, so please give melple a try.
